The Ron Jackson Trio Provides Jazz Entertainment for Gala at Princeton University

[Princeton, NJ] On Saturday, April 15, 2024, Princeton University hosted a huge day of Jazz! The Princeton Jazz Festival and the Black Student Union, continuing the day's festivities, held their annual gala with a roaring 20's theme.

The trio had a great time performing and meeting the students from the union. And true to event, we played a lot of jazz from the era, opening with "The Way You Look Tonight". I did sneak in a few of my crowd favorites, like rap and R&B that I arranged in the style of swing, like Drake's "Passionfruit" and the more uptempo, "Isn't She Lovely", by Stevie Wonder!

Thanks to Mary at Princeton BSU for inviting us! We had a blast!

Meet The Band!!

Would you like me to create a chord melody lesson for "The Way You Look Tonight"?  Watch this video of us performing it and let me know@
